Waikato human resource company signs top global consultant
Waikato-based human resource specialists Everest Group have employed a top performing recruitment consultant from a large global recruiting firm.
English-born Alex Wade has 16 years' experience in recruitment; the last 13 of which have seen her stand out as one of Advantage Resourcing's recruitment arm Crone Corkill's top performing consultants.
Wade moved to Cambridge from Sevenoaks in North Kent, near London with family in August, and started with Everest Group last week as the company's first ever recruitment specialist.
"We are so excited to welcome Alex on board into a brand new role that will ensure we are providing even greater value to our clients and expanding our services where they're needed," said Everest Group managing director Senga Allen.
Wade says recruitment has always been the main focus of her career and what she is passionate about.
"Everest Group has a great reputation and when I met with the team about the direction they wanted to take the company in, which involved growing the recruitment arm, it was a perfect fit for my previous experience and responsibilities.
"It's such an exciting opportunity for me and the company has such a lovely, positive environment where the staff not only excel at what they do, but enjoy doing it, which you don't always get."
Wade says the focus of the recruitment specialist role will be to work closely with clients in an in-house capacity, growing the recruitment arm of the company, and making sure Waikato businesses are aware that Everest Group specialises in recruitment.
"So basically I will be aiming to keep to the company's best practices, ensuring that I am a positive voice for the Everest Group and helping to bring recruitment back into the Waikato for local businesses, rather than them having to look outside the region for the service."
She says she intends to be as strong a force as her colleagues in bringing her experience to the table for the company and ensuring that Everest Group continues to be a well-recognised and regarded brand in the recruitment sphere.
Everest Group was established in 2006 to provide best practice people management solutions to business, incorporating recruitment, human resources, health and safety and training and development.
